I avoided this movie for the longest time. The synopsis scared me off. Sounded a bit too bizarre. Boy, was I wrong. It certainly isn't a stretch to foresee a future where developing relationships with computers/phones is possible.
We already live in a world where many people spend more time texting each other than talking to one another. We've become so detached from human interaction. Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson are terrific.
