An interesting premise and the director might argue that it raises some interesting philosophical questions about Artificial Intelligence, but it doesn't.
The film constantly feels like a farce but the actors are trying desperately to be serious. It's an uncomfortable mess based on a ridiculous premise.
Perhaps it would make a good short film... but it is way too long.
