Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Peter F — 13 Jan 2012
I'll be the first to admit that serial killer films haven't been too relevant since the days of Hitchcock, but there is a lot to like here in McNaughton's debut. It has a creepy atmosphere to it, and while often graphic the subject matter is handled in a tasteful manner.
It can be repetitive and predictable at times, but slasher fans would do better watching this than a Jason or Freddy sequel.
