Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Joseph B — 19 Jan 2008
Having read and watched a lot of things about serial killers I would have to say that this guy would be snapped up in no time being as sloppy as he was. but this derranged movie definately was an alright time to watch.
there were so many times they should've gotten caught... like with the fingerprints the both convicted felons will have on record that they left at each scene, the videos they made of them committing crimes, saliva and sperm samples that would one day get them and the trophies of victims stuff all over the house.
henry definately got more from killing then killing and not getting caught. some of the kills were good, especially the lippy tv repair man who gets stabbed with a soldering iron and a tv broken over his head before it electrocutes him.
I would be absolutely miserable to have some annoying sounding girl going on about being raped and molested by her dad when you are first talking to her. the end rape was no surprise but then he goes and disposes the body in a fashion that had a good chance of him getting caught.
definately not the best serial killer I have seen, not the worst either.
