Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Vincent O — 25 Jan 2008
One of the most amazing films despite 0/10 for enjoyment. Based on the true story of Henry Lee Lucus (played by M. Rooker), who has claimed to have killed over 600 individuals. The director McNaughton has really delved into the mind of such a man (a little too deep) and if this makes voyers out of the audience, then what does it make of the director himself? Henry is such a clever picture and instead of watching endless slayings you mostly only witness the aftermath of such murder and mayhem!
