Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Eric C — 15 Aug 2010
I was feeling physically sick for three days after seeing this movie. Never been as moved by a movie. I doubt I'll ever watch it again, but I bought a copy so I could loan it to my frieds, cause I always talk about it.
It's not just the theme and the gory violence. This movie gets under one's skin on several other subtle levels, and leaves the viewer totally drained. It's really ingenious, a true work of art.
