Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Cody N — 01 Apr 2011
The beginning was complete and utter cheese. So much that I couldn't help but laugh when there were murdered bodies on screen. Does that make me insensitive? I don't know, probably. Through out the film it gets more graphic, yet the acting and writing are just as sloppy, well I don't want to blame the acting because it's most likely the script.
I'd give it the benefit of the doubt considering the year and budget it was made on. It looks very realistic and gets a bit disturbing, you just have to give it a little time.
