Review of Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986) by Joe D — 21 Jul 2012
As someone who has researched the psychology of the serial killer for years, this movie scared the crap out of me, and I haven't been truly frightened by a film since I saw "The Exorcist" at age 10 (I think I was too young for it, really).
Michael Rooker is truly chilling as Henry, propelling the fictionalized version of Henry Lee Lucas into my personal top 5 movie villains. Do not blow this one off as just another slasher film, and make sure to watch it with company, with the lights ON.
