Review of Henry Poole Is Here (2008) by Christine B — 26 Aug 2008
Mark pellington does not disappoint with his fourth feature film. i've always admired his unique approach to films and his sense of style, most notably as a music video director, really shines through here.
luke wilson does a good job and I really bought the relationship he and radha mitchell's character had. adriana barraza is always clutch. creative concept that isn't too preachy and delivers some good powerful moments.
..the idea of hope is not necessarily religious, but more about one's own ability to believe regardless of faith.
