Review of Helvetica (2007) by Wade T — 25 Feb 2008
Far more fascinating than a documentary on a font has any right to be. Engrossing for the entirety of its 80 minutes. A combination of interesting photography, graphic depictions of the ubiquity of the Helvetica font, and interviews with typographers, who it turns out are thoughtful, interesting, introspective and witty people.
People that say things like, "Using Helvetica means you support the Vietnam War!".
