Review of Helvetica (2007) by Stephen L — 12 Jan 2009
The version I saw on PBS was probably edited for length but I still found it fascinating. Maybe that makes me a giant nerd. I don't know. But what the movie does expertly prove is that the subconscious visual language of typography is just as important and maybe more important than the information the type is presenting.
