Review of Helvetica (2007) by Aaron M — 22 Feb 2010

I'll be honest, I don't expect most people to have much interest in this. I've always had an interest in typefaces though and found this quite interesting. It was fun seeing the different type designers arguing about how pristinely perfect and ideal or absolutely awful and overused Helvetica is.

Would have been interesting to see a bit more on modern type design in the last 20 years (the guy who designed Verdana for MS was on there but they didn't talk about it too much). My final word: I don't think Helvetica is the end-all-be-all of typefaces but hey, at least it's a better choice than Comic Sans MS :P.
