Review of Helvetica (2007) by Jen H — 29 Aug 2010
Perhaps I'm just accustomed to the conventional format, but I don't think historical documentaries (and that's what this is, or ought to be) usually work very well without overarching narration and facts to mortar together the opinion.
Still, it's nice to see masters getting inordinately excited over the minutiae of their profession, and it's even nicer when that's fonts!
Postscript: Paula Scher is nuttier than a pub snack.
