Hellâ??s Highway is the best film out of all four films in the Midnight Horror Collection featuring four films made independently, available at Wal-Mart. The first one is Sheltered and film drags on way too long even though itâ??s only 87 minutes.

The ending was pretty dumb. The Craving and Feeding Grounds are uber crap and make very bad Hollywood films look mediocre or okay films. The last one is Hellâ??s Highway and this film is fine example of schlock that would be cubic zirconium in pile of dung heap.

The film features a group of friends traveling to Redondo Beach until they pick up an evil hitchhiker in the form of a woman (Phoebe Dollar). You can tell by Dollarâ??s large lips that she is evil. There are attempts of gore here thatâ??s obviously cheap and humorous along with an ill conceived explanation that made me laugh hard.

Yes, there are a lot of goof ups and mistakes, but over time it gets boring and that can be a negative. If I didnâ??t know any better, I might say this film was made by a porno company and not to mention Ron Jeremyâ??s cameo.
