Maybe it was diminished expectations, but I didn't think this was nearly as wretched as people were making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it's a bad movie. But, like the previously three entries, it's not "slit your own wrists to escape it" bad.
The guy who plays Pinhead this time around is, quite frankly, awful. He makes you fully appreciate just what Doug Bradley brought to the previous entries. The saving graces are a mercifully short running time (75 minutes, including credits) and some nice gore.
Otherwise, it's painlessly forgettable.
