Review of Hellraiser: Judgment (2018) by Nate 'Fenrazor' R — 04 Feb 2018
Fantastic!!! Paul T. Taylor KILLs it with his Pinhead performance as well as the other cast which did an exceptional job! It is immediately evident when watching Judgement that Gary Turncliffe has put his heart and soul into this film.
In Spite of the fact that Dimension only gave them a month to shoot and a horrifically small budget.The visual effects are wonderful and sickening and the acting is top notch. The horror elements in the script we're something that have never been done before and definitely seemed like they came right out of one of Clive Barkers novels.
The final sequence of the film has a couple fantastic plot twists and a couple wonderful Easter Egg throwbacks to the first film. If you are looking for a pollished new school horror flick and arnt into Clive Barker than you probably won't enjoy this film.
But here's the good news, this movie wasn't made for you, it was made for Hellraiser fans and fans of Clive Barker. And on that premise it succeeded incredibly!!! Hellraiser: Judgement is a fantastic Grindhouse horror flick much like the original film.
It is definitely something special and should not be missed!
