Review of Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) by Cade H — 05 Jan 2015
I can only imagine it's going to get really...really bad after this one. I didn't expect much from Hellraiser Inferno, but at least something to do with Pinhead and the Cenobites and their unleashing of hell.
I mean 1-4 they're trying to bring Hell to Earth and they almost succeed, but this one doesn't explain how Pinhead is still alive opting instead to tell the tale of a corrupt police officer who stumbles upon the box and then opens it.
Instead of being ripped to shreds by Pinhead and the gang, he is instead a product now of his own hell. It's an interesting concept, but there's no gore, the acting is terrible, and you could give a shit less about the main character.
There's nothing redeemable about this man to even care about his torment. The film is just boring and is extremely long and while that's an overexaggeration, that's just how boring this film felt.
