Review of Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) by Ted W — 25 Mar 2016
Inferno is the first direct to video sequel and the last good one. Inferno plays out more as a detective drama with horror elements sprinkled throughout. The plot follows a shady detective who's put in charge of a murder case, as he attempts to catch the killer, strange occurrences begin.
The film has a good build up to a decent pay off & the cast performances are quite good for a direct-to-video sequel. This is an entertaining film which puts a twist on the series, fans of the previous instalments expecting to see the same thing, may be disappointed as the complete style, pace and atmosphere of this one is completely decent, giving the series some originality.
An Enjoyable Sequel For Both Horror And Crime Fans.
