Review of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) by Thomas N — 14 Jul 2011
It's no secret that the first two Hellraiser films are the best out of the entire series but I'm glad they kept adding on to the series because I can never get enough of Pinhead and the rest of the Cenobites.
When going into part three and on do not go into them with high expectations. Hellraiser 3: Hell On Earth holds more of a slasher formula this time and focuses a lot on the main villain Pinhead. The acting from most of the cast is really bad at times, cheesy at times, and sometimes even embarrassing but Doug Bradley as Pinhead is always great it's like he was born to play the role.
Hell On Earth kind of leaves off where the second left off leaving Pinhead trapped in a pillar along with the Lament Configuration puzzle box but when someone ends up freeing the puzzle and when Pinhead gets enough human flesh to break free of the pillar all Hell breaks loose.
So sit back and have fun when watching this one.
