Review of Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005) by Joss D — 13 Sep 2010
A decent straight-to-video installment of the series. The first two films are classics and its downhill from there on, but baring that in mind 'Hellraiser 8' is surprisingly watchable. The cast are good, including Lance 'Bishop from Alien' Henriksen, and the film has the right atmosphere for a Hellraiser film (it focuses on fear and torture rather than the quick-deaths of most slasher films).
The climax will divide audiences - many of the franchise's fans dispise the film for it - but I personally thought it was in interesting idea, and made the film a more original installment for the series.
