Review of Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002) by Joe H — 24 Jun 2011
I think this is a worthy Hellraiser sequel; unlike the one I saw at 1am with Dax from DS9 getting chased down an exploding city block by a cd-shooting Cenobite.
I thought it was a neat story that used Kirsty Cotton from the original and not an excessive amount of Pinhead. It felt like a neat blend of Hellraiser and Memento, using the story of a guy trying to remember something he did or didn't do. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Dean Winters, too.
It wasn't a 'slasher' or too excessively gory , just a weird twisted story. Maybe it won't hold up after repeated viewings but for now its good.
