Review of Hellraiser (1987) by Darrin C — 14 Feb 2015
For a 80's splatter film, is good, it has its highs and lows. But I love when Kirsty is running away from Frank (after he killed Julia), and she opens a door, in one of those scaring scenes where you could go like "Jesus!", and it is a image of Jesus.
Also, in the end when she is fighting with that lobster like monster for the puzzle, she finally get it and the boy try to take it from her and she is like "Get away it's mine!". Guess it was worth the laugh.
Anyway, all those special effects in the movie make it too old to be scary, but it must have been a good horror piece back in the 80s.
