Before I start my review for the 1987 cult classic horror film hellraiser I am going to present a horror film timeline from the decade or years from 1980-1989.

Now on to my film review of the 1987 horror film called hellraiser which tells the horrific story of a man named frank cotton which who is a weird perverted guy who discovers a puzzle box which he thinks good things happen in the puzzle box then the cenobites (pinhead the lead cenobite,butterball,female cenobite,and gasher) hellraiser is a horror film that has a take with 80's horror well because back then horror was campy with film series like friday the 13th a nightmare on elm street and halloween series at the time after clive barker did his novella called the hellbound heart he decided to make a messed up horror film just like evil dead but with more budget hellraiser is a great horror film highly recommended for any horror fan and also a great horror film hidden gem highly recommended hellraiser has it all in this film but way different than any jason, freddy, or michael myers film hellraiser has a gateway to hell and to kill/toture you in any gruesome way so watch out pinhead's puzzle box or he will find you and send you to hell with them when hellraiser had opened in theaters on september 18th 1987 the film had opened at #3 because of the thriller fatal attraction.
