This low-key, tightly wound drama may tread familiar waters and expend some of its nuance and grit for the sake of a misguided twist in the final act, but it's an earnest effort fuelled by two brutally sincere performances by Aaron Paul and an absolutely heartbreaking Josh **** Expand.
