Review of Hellevator: The Bottled Fools (2004) by Jason J — 04 Feb 2010
An enjoyable yet heavily flawed film that feels like it should have been awesome, but doesn't quite get there. There are some fantastic concepts in here but it feels like the film-makers are trying to cram too many of them into a measly 97-minute running time.
However, if you're at all a fan of dark, surreal sci-fi (i.e. Cube, Dark City, etc.) it's well worth seeing as it's still a quite decent and fascinating piece of work.
