Review of Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) by Alastair H — 11 May 2011
What an improvement over the original. The first film wasn't bad by an means but this just tops it in every aspect. The visual style and characters are fantastic (with a cool Pan's Labyrinth feel about them!).
Many of the cast return and put in nice performances and there are some great effects. Highly recommended! (17.5.09), (11.5.11).
