I love the original but I HATE this sequel. It had potential and the characters are still good but the plot was disappointing and the ending was TERRIBLE. (spoiler alert) Why would Abe, Hellboy, and Liz all stop being superheros?! Also, the romance between Abe and the princess seemed out of character and unnatural.
I truly think this movie is overrated but the characters, main and supporting are were interesting and the special effects were great. This isn't unwatchable, I just found it very disappointing.
