Review of Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) by Andrew K — 05 Oct 2012

Character designs are incredible and the visuals can be breathtaking. It had a much more exciting plot than the first installment. Along with the great fight choreography makes this a def summer winner.

However, it's far from perfect. The plot moves so fast that at times it feels like you're being rushed thru. The vibrantly colored Hellboy characters clash against a background of bleak looking fantasy creations so much that it can feel like they just don't belong.

Overall, it's entertaining but nothing special.
