Fantastic adventure with great screenplay and music, cool acting and impressive visuals. One of the best films I've seen. The movie has plenty of humor and action, and indeed is never dull - mostly because of the incredible imagination of del Toro.
I feel I would be rude to question the genious by criticizing the movie further. Just wonderful. The characters are just awesome. All the creatures, gizmos, devices, detail.. it is simply incredible. My favorite scene is the one in which we meet Anung Un Rama's death.
"I will meet him at every crossroad." She's amazing. Fun, great, action oriented fantasy with great imagination, great effects, nice acting, interesting, original storytelling.. I run out of superlatives.
