Review of Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) by Roland S — 01 Nov 2013
The wit and attitude that made the first Hellboy so wonderful is back and better than ever, only this time, the action is louder, the visuals are more dazzling, and Del Toro's imagination sparkles more than ever.
If any criticism can be levied against it, it's that I didn't enjoy seeing Hellboy as a child in the beginning, and that I wished Danny Elfman had incorporated the original film's main theme into his score.
