Review of Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008) by Ted W — 14 Dec 2016

Great sequel to another great hellboy movie starring the guy that plays hellboy that I don't know his name, I apologize now. I love the tone in how guiermo del Toro has a comic book movie and his mind together make a good comic book movie, he should make more of these type of comic book movies.

Even though I like the first movie way way better, that's how everybody's minds think, the first movie of a franchise is the best movie in the franchise, well that's how pretty much everybody thinks.

One big flaw in this movie is the dad of hellboy and ever since they killed him in the first movie the movie feels left out and doesn't have the feel like the first movie, now it's about Liz / fire girl and her being pregnant isn't the same feels as the dad.

But one good thing is the visuals like from the new camera they use compared to the first movie and the computer design has improved or costume design for the water guy ape sapien. I love this franchise and I can't wait for a third movie, if their is not a third movie I will be disappointed but for now we have this two good hellboy movies.
