Review of Hellboy (2004) by Tamsin P — 31 May 2011
It does answer a few questions, having watched the 2nd one first, but it also leaves a lot of plot holes. Perlman's performance is the major highlight of the film and the action, the humour and sometimes the romance make this an entertaining film, though the latter is more richly developed in Hellboy II.
