Review of Hellboy (2004) by Michael P — 02 Jun 2012
The plot and acting are pretty mediocre, though passable, and some of the special effects are quite poor (scenes where characters get thrown around are especially cringe inducing). However, the creature design is amazing and the film overall looks really really well.
Lovecraft fans owe it to themselves to see this film for the visuals alone.
