Review of Hellboy (2004) by Jesse B — 23 May 2014
I love superhero films but this one's got something a little more going with it. It's a refreshing take on the genre, what with the horror, the comedy, the low-key finale (in comparison) and it's also what's easily got to be one of, if not the, most authentic romance the genre has in it.
(Ok, sans Garfield-Stone in the spiderman relaunch but then again that was just about the only good part of those movies). Far from perfect but a must watch for superhero fans.
