Its a pretty enjoyable comic book flick despite it being very derivative.
Ron Pearlman is perfect as Hellboy, Selma Blair fits Liz Sherman very well too.
John Hurt and Doug Jones perform nicely as well.
There isnt a whole lot of action but its a good start.
Guillermo del Toro is a fantastic visual creator.
