Review of Hellboy (2004) by The Critic ( — 17 May 2013
A perfectly cast Ron Perlman is the titular hero who saves the world whilst dealing with adolescent angst in a manner that's both humourous and heartfelt. It's a fun, nicely paced, strongly acted and visually impressive adaptation of the Dark Horse comic book series; it is beautifully photographed and features a number of great action sequences.
