Guillermo del Toro's comic adaption of the Dark Horse series Hellboy is the story about the supernatural demon Hellboy (Ron Perlman) who is raised by the Professor Trevor Bruttenholm (John Hurt) and becomes an agent at the BPRD (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense) a agency who specialize in capturing supernatural creatures. But this particularly, the villain is the Russian monk Grigori Rasputin (Karel Roden), that's right the legends are true he's still alive. And he's plans involving of course world domination, and bring Hell to earth.

I liked the film, it's not a great film because I think that it could have gone deeper in making it more authentically and more mythological , like instead of these the accent, why not use the real language? Why go through the same action cliches when you could have a perfectly mythological movie with real location? Besides that I loved the title character Hellboy and his attitude like a parody of a super hero, with his B.A. Baracus attitude and his Hannibal Smith Cigar. Thumbs up.
