Review of Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) by Ronald S — 06 Apr 2008
God, in the middle of the flick, I told myself, "Well, I think I can give this a 7 out of 10 (3 1/2 stars)," but then it got worse...and worse. Its an alright flick, but a sequel to Hellraiser? No, this cannot be it.
Its story is entirely too choppy and it wanted to do so much, but failed on almost all regards. There are some good SFX, large amounts of blood, and pieces of an origin for Pinhead to be found, but the story is what ruins it.
I like it enough, but I wanted to love it. I cannot bring myself to do so.
