Review of Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) by Matthew L — 20 Nov 2009
What a shame. Hellraiser had such an interesting premise, but there is no excuse for filmmaking this horrid. Nothing can justify this mind-numbing, senselessly gory ludicrous excuse for a movie. Nothing is coherent; there is no attempt at storyline or acting; and this film manages to be more disgusting than the vomit-worthy original.
The only redeeming quality in this is the character of Pinhead, but he's so rarely in the film that it makes no difference. All we get are characters with no personality saying things that make no sense in response to stupid situations.
Ugh, this sucked.
