Review of Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988) by William C — 17 Aug 2011
While there are moments that could have been tightened, plot holes that could easily have been filled and moments that could have been switched around to make surprises more shocking, Hellbound takes the mythology of the box and the Cenobites and enhances them to a state of perverse beauty.
Props must really be given to Christopher Young's stunning score and the inclusion of the enigmatic and sadistic Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham) and his Cenobitic alter ego.
