Review of Hell Up In Harlem (1973) by Kevin D — 20 Feb 2009
I guess you have to ignore the ending of "Black Caeser" to make a sequel to it, but the contempt the filmmakers have for their audience only begins there. They even steal the climactic chase of the first film for the opening.
Still, some great moments of crappy cinema are here to be had: impalement by beach umbrella, for one. Has some great songs, including Julius Harris' theme "Big Poppa". You know what? I recommend it.
