Review of Hell Ride (2008) by Jerry K — 08 Aug 2008

A complete waste of time. Tries way too hard to seem cool by employing badly written, pretentious dialog that tries to be a mix of Tarantino's pop wit and Mamet's shorthand, and it just ends up sounding completely moronic.

Very badly directed, written and acted by Larry Bishop, and no one else in the movie fairs any better.

The best thing I could say about it is that if you had to choose between seeing "Hell Ride" and "The Happening," I would go with "Hell Ride." (At least it has a lot of big fake boobies on display, and it's shorter).
