Review of Hell Ride (2008) by Patrick C — 16 Apr 2009

I, unfortunately or not, did not grow up in the era of American unrest where everything that is now part of pop culture was corrupting the youth of the day...the days of the biker rebel movies...In fact, I've really only seen Easy Rider of the bunch.

But this movie easily showcases what those movies would have liked to have been. The dudes here are tough hardasses who seem like they'd as soon kill you as look at you, the bikes are ironclad works of art born from hell and the girls are parts of both & oozing with raw sex appeal.

With a name like "Hell Ride", you should know what you're getting into, and if that's what you want, you'll love it. A definite kind of actiony guy movie. The girls that would really get & enjoy this are the types of girls that would inhabit that world (& thus might be bored by it! lol).

Nice cast too, though some of the parts aren't as meaty for some (David Carradine, who still manages to be a badass even though he's tied to a chair for pretty much the whole movie) of them as for the others.
