Review of Hell or High Water (2016) by David C — 05 Dec 2016
This is a very well-crafted mood piece that embodies a fresh take on the heist genre. Using the current US economic clash between the struggling working class and the banks as it's canvas, the director has cleverly created juxtaposing imagery, feelings and narrative drive that poignantly reflects themes at stake.
The acting and music are just as affective too, which makes this thriller a must see.
