Review of Hell or High Water (2016) by Daniel O — 14 Dec 2016

This is one handsome ol' movie! Beautiful to watch and to just look at! And the four main actors just rule the roost! Two brothers rob banks, that are, in a way, robbing them (and us). Love the use of the billboards as signs of the times! And the musical score is perfect - is it a deep violin or a cello? - just perfect! As good as the acting is, two supporting characters sort of just up and steal their respective scenes! The old man in the bank and the old rattlesnake waitress (who, in my opinion deserves to get the Oscar as best supporting actress going away!) I love the pace and tenor of this film and I could probably watch it all day! And the ending is perfect! Great film!
