A terrific throwback to the 1970's "end of the West" films from the screenwriter of the equally terrific "Sicario". Jeff Bridges is the standout here, but Chris Pine really surprises with a wonderfully subdued performance.
I don't think there's any new territory explored here, but all the elements are just so well done it's a real joy to watch. The Nick Cave/Warren Ellis score is particularly good.
