An overrated but good film. Chris Pine does well, while Jeff Bridges turns in another gravelly, mush-mouthed performance that gathered awards. His character's 'big teddy bear' gruffness is a little hard to take with the racist crap thrown in to make him edgy.
Got overdone in Gran Torino with Eastwood, and plays as just tired in this one. Really like Bridges, but this character was better in True Grit.
