Country cool. Restraint exercised to powerful effect. Beautifully shot with pace that matched the speed of life in the places it depicted. The characters had depth with interesting flaws and strengths.
Music added a richness to the mood (makes me want to watch The Proposition again). Highly recommend. I know I'll be watching this one again.
