The only "horror" Hell Fest captures is being stuck at a place you don't want to be with a group of people you don't like. It's full of tropes but doesn't ever really try not to.
There are a handful of scenes that are actually suspenseful, but ultimately, it fails to be compelling and anything more than a gory but forgetful movie going experience.
