Let me start off by saying this movie aint for everyone and is definitely a Adult only movie because of the subject matter. It's about a music professor of an american university that re-lapses into depression and anxiety.

The movie is extremely slow paced slower than I walk. :P The reason I give it three stars though is because the performances were strong solid and you can tell that all actors really put effort in ever single role.

So as a whole the movie in a performance view is a 5/5 star. Ashley Judd puts in a profound performance as the music professor dealing with the illness. The aspect I enjoyed about this movie was the different methods and support systems the person with the illness had around them and it actually proved the theory at the end of the movie that I have about depression and anxiety when I was studying and working as a Youth Worker.

The one line in the movie that really makes my theory stand out is ""I was prepared to fight. I wasn't prepared to lose" My theory from day one has always been you can help a person all the way nut if they are not willing to put in the hard work to get themselves to a better place you wont get anywhere with them.

Ok I do not recommend this for everyone. If you watch this be prepared for a long dramatic intense movie that is slow.
